Charles William Beeler

Charles William Beeler, 74, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on January 18, 2017.  He was born on September 10, 1942 in Oregon, Ohio to Charles and Roseanne Beeler.  Chuck was a 1961 graduate of Clay High School and worked as a union carpenter and farmed.  He had a deep appreciation of horses and was often found driving a team of horses in area events.  Chuck served as a board member of the Lucas County Soil and Water Conservation District.  He was a member of St. Ignatius Church.  Chuck was a loving and devoted family man who will be dearly missed.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Jeannette (Gladieux) Beeler; children, James (Christine) Beeler, Eva (Arthur) Sido and Amy (Neal) Beeler-Harmon; grandchildren, Joshua and Matthew Beeler, Caitlin, Hunter, Madison, Noah, Reagan, Laura, Caleb and Victoria Sido; siblings, Paul (Gloria) Stribrny, Elaine (Robert) Lloyd, Carol Stribrny, David Stribrny and John (Teri) Stribrny and many extended family members.  He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Beeler, Sr., parents, Roseanne and James Stribrny and his sister, Irene Goethals.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 2-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Ignatius Church, 212 N. Stadium Rd. in Oregon where family will greet guests after 9 a.m.  Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
