He is survived by his loving wife, Loth (Douangsavan) Xaiyarath; children, Soulin, Khanha, Bouapa, Champa, Bouathong, Boualong, Vangvern, Praseuth, Bounlert and Bounlam; twenty-five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two sisters and one brother. Chanda was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jalern and one brother.
Friends will be received from 2-8 P.M. on Friday, November 30, 2012 in the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Road in Oregon (419-693-9304) where funeral services will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 1, 2012. Burial will follow in N. Oregon Cemetery.
