Catherine Helen Bogusky

Catherine H. Bogusky, age 60, of Temperance, MI. passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on September 20, 1960 in Wilkes-Barre, PA. to John and Irene Wozniak the youngest of five children.  Catherine was a 1978 graduate of G.A.R. High School and went on to graduate from Pittson School of Nursing.  She married her husband Dennis on Valentine's Day in 1987. Catherine worked as an R.N. for St. Vincent Medical Center and gave up her nursing career to raise their two daughters.  She was a member of St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church where she volunteered for bingo.  Catherine also volunteered at Bedford Schools for many years.  She will be dearly missed.

Catherine is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Dennis Bogusky; daughters, Nicole and Cynthia Bogusky; siblings, Mary Senchak, John (Melanie) Wozniak, Ann (Thomas) Pellegrini, and Michael (Karen) Wozniak and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Richard Senchak.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, July 2, 2021, from 4-8:00 p.m. with Parastas Service at 7:00 p.m.  The Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial Service will be held at St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. where family will greet guests after 9:00 a.m.  Additional visitation and Liturgy will take place in Pennsylvania with burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Dallas, PA. under the direction of John V.
