Carol F. Williams, 78, of Genoa, Ohio passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016 at Mercy-St. Vincent Hospital. She was born on May 1, 1937 in Cartersville, Georgia to John and Frances Hill. Carol married Obe Williams in 1954 and started their family together. She worked as a dietary aid at the Genoa Care Center for 14 years. Carol was a member of Northwood Baptist Church and in her spare time she enjoyed shopping.
Carol is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Obe Williams; children, Dwana (Terry) Everett and David (Kathy) Williams; grandchildren, Rhonda (Dave) Hanthorn, Teresa (Jeff) Nissen, Christopher (Amy) Conkey, Justin (Heather) Williams and Nathanael Williams; 5 great-grandchildren and her brother, John Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Tom and James Lee and sisters-in-law, Peggy Hill and Shirley Lee.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Thursday, February 25, 2016 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Clay Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Northwood Baptist Church or the American Heart Association.
