Carol Sue (Nelson) Sawyer Miller

Carol Sue Sawyer Miller, 69, died Monday, August 27, 2018 at the University of Toledo Medical Center. She was born December 26, 1948 in Arnett, WV to Murl Nelson and Georgia Nelson Pratt. Carol was a graduate of Marsh Fork High School, Montcoal, WV and Owens Community College, Perrysburg, OH. She retired as office manager from Lucas Co. Correctional Treatment Facility. Carol was a member of Solid Rock Community Church and attended the Pioneer Community Center weekly. Carol loved to read, play cards, attend bible study, and devote time to friends and family.

Carol is survived by her step father Dewey Pratt Sr.; daughters Renee (Matt) Sawyer-Frizzell and grandchildren Chandler, Isabelle, Joshua;  Stephanie (Joe) Imre and grandchildren Amber (Shane) and Joseph; Kimberly (Marc) Keenan and grandchildren Andrew and Alex; Lisa Phillips and grandchildren Matthew, Justin, Kyle, Jacob, Lucas and Madison; great grandchildren Kelsey, Ryleigh and Shane Jr.; step brothers David and Larry Pratt; sisters Anna, Brenda, Janet, Helen, Ermma and Mona; brothers Norman and Roger. She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at 12 p.m. at Solid Rock Community Church, 102 Egly Dr., West Unity, OH 43570.
