Carol Kathleen Roberts

Carol June Kathleen Roberts age 87, of Toledo, passed away Friday, May 7, 2021, at Mercy St. Charles Hospital. Carol was born in Toledo, Ohio, and enjoyed taking care of her family most in life. The kind of person who never sat in judgment of others, Carol was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great-grandmother. She enjoyed playing table games with her grandchildren especially poker and Yahtzee. Recently, she became a fan of bingo and word puzzle books. She busied herself with crafts, garage sales, and western movies. In her early years, she was proud to have worked as a carhop at Kewpee Burgers and Don’s Drive-in. She volunteered for many years for St. Anthony’s Villa, fundraising at the annual Mardi Gras.

Carol is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ronald Roberts; children, Richard Werner, Michael Fox (Robert Orlet), Kathleen (Kim) Scholl, Jack Barto, Karen (Don) Stout, Robert Roberts (Cesar De LaTorre), Steven (Dimitria) Roberts; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Garvin and Kathleen Hart-Day; and two brothers, William and Francis.

Friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel in Oregon, Ohio on Sunday, May 16, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. where services will be held at 6:00 p.m.
