Carol “Sue”Kendrick, 76, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2015 in Oregon Ohio. She was born on November 12, 1938 in Toledo, Ohio to Edward and Mary Watson. Sue was a 1956 graduate of Waite High School and worked various jobs over the years. Susie married Jack Kendrick and raised 3 children on the east side of Toledo. She spent summers at Bay Point Resort and later winters in Florida. After Jacks death, Sue joined her daughter in California. There she helped raise 3 grandchildren and was very active in the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary in Lomita. She served as Auxiliary President and lived there over 10 years. She returned to Toledo in 2010.
Sue is survived by her children: Ronald (Debbie) Kendrick, Bonnie (Marty) Lawlor and Michael (Kathleen Ginter) Kendrick; 6 grandchildren: Stacy, Jamie, Ronnie, Max, Sarah and Brendan, 8 great-grandchildren: Tyler, Vincent, Daylin, Xavier, Camiah, Justin, Donovan and Darian and her brother: Edward (Rose) Watson, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister: Bonnie Watson.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 4-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
