Carnetta Lynn Firkins, 60, of Oregon, OH, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025. Carnetta was born in Morehead, KY, on February 20, 1965. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family, cooking, playing games, and celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas. Carnetta also enjoyed traveling, taking cruises, and gambling.
Carnetta is survived by her husband Robert; first husband Michael Legg; mother Dorothy Jones; children Casey (Wesley Kasack) Legg, Jessica (Sunny Singh) Legg, Matthew Twigg, and Melinda Twigg; grandchildren Skyler (Antonio Zimmerman) Serrano, Roxie Legg-Kasack, Chloie Serrano, Harley Legg-Kasack, Hannah Serrano, and a great-grandchild on the way; siblings Jerry (Dodie) Jones, Joanne (Robert) Plumley, Alvin (Christine) Cozart, Richard Cozart, and Heidi (Glen) Goldie. She was preceded in death by her son Joshua Twigg; fathers Richard Cozart and Kenneth Jones; and grandparents Roxie and Auttie Wallace.
Visitation will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S Wynn Rd in Oregon, Ohio on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, from 3 until 6 p.m.
