Carl K. Finch was called to his heavenly home November 17, 2014. Carl was born to Fred and Eleanor (Wamer) Finch in Perrysburg on November 13, 1931. He graduated from Perrysburg High School in 1951 and married Mary Jane Kusian on October 27, 1951. He worked at Libbey Owens Ford in Rossford for 37 years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the GAF Society. When he retired, he started working on improving his golf and achieved a hole in one in 2004.
Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Mary Jane; daughters, Jane (Mark) Mang and Kelly (Scott) EdwardsKatie (Paul) Smith, MD, Darcie (Ryan) Peacock, Malorie (John) Booren; great-grandchildren, Noal, Caden, Molly, Kipton and Bryson. Also surviving is his brother, James (Virginia) Finch and sister, Donna (Humbert) Connor. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Fred, George and Harold Finch and sisters, Mary Jane Pringle and Gladys McKinley.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 26535 Pemberville Rd, Perrysburg, OH 43551. Burial will follow at Lake Twp Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
