Calvin E. “Peewee” Baker Jr., 41, of Toledo, OH passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at the St Vincent’s Mercy Hospital. He was born on June 8, 1972 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio to Calvin and Kay (Young) Baker Sr. Peewee worked rebuilding industrial motors at Doug Beat. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and East Toledo Junior Football League games. He was proud to be the Oakdale Vikings football H2O Tech Boss. He was a kind soul that loved his family deeply.
Calvin is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen Baker; children, Kyle, Nathan, Ryan, and Robert Baker; parents; brother, Kevin Baker, and many favorite nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William (Irene) Baker, Ray Young, and Harry (Lillian) Heffelfinger, and uncle, Steven Young.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd., Oregon, on Thursday, August 29, 2013 from 2-8 p.m. where the funeral service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. the following day.
