Brenda Jean Treadway

Brenda Jean Treadway age 68 of Toledo passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024, at the Cleveland Clinic. Brenda was born to Roy E. Bryant Sr. and Alberta (Sharp) Bryant in Samaria, Michigan on December 27, 1955. She was a 1974 graduate of Rogers High School. Faith was a big part of her life and even through adversity, Brenda remained a Believer. To Brenda, the times spent with her grandchildren were her biggest joys in life. She was an animal lover, with a special place in her heart for Great Danes. To know Brenda was to know she was a very nurturing and caring person with a big heart. Her greatest strength was never turning anyone away who needed her. Brenda was the go-to host for the Holidays in her family and enjoyed reading and working puzzles. She will be greatly missed by everyone who loved her.

Brenda is survived by her children Walter Z. (Sarah) Storm Jr. and Amanda Storm; grandchildren Emma Storm, Savannah Storm, Walter Storm II, and Philippus Storm; father Roy Bryant Sr.; siblings Roy (Teresa) Bryant Jr., Cheryl Parton, and Kim (Mac) McCoy; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard in 2007 and her mother Alberta Upchurch.

A memorial gathering will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S Wynn Rd. in Oregon, Ohio on November 23, 2024, from 1 until 3 p.m. A memorial service will begin at 3 p.m. Memorial contributions are appreciated to the Toledo Humane Society.
