BRANDON ADAM YANEZ
Brandon Yanez departed this earth suddenly on Saturday, June 22nd, 2013, to join many of our beloved angels in Heaven. He was born on November 8, 1970 and attended St. Francis High School and BGSU where he majored in music.
Brandon was a gifted guitar player and over the years played with several of Toledo’s finest musicians in area venues. He treasured the times he could share his musical talents and enjoyed giving guitar lessons. He was a funny guy who could light up a room with his “8 mile smile”. Brandon could take even the most serious thing and make it fun to lighten everyone’s burdens, in spite of his own. He had a heart of gold and he never met anyone he didn’t like.
Training assistance dogs played an important part of his life. Brandon recently talked of starting his own dog training business so he could help the less fortunate, particularly veterans. He was so giving of himself and continuously thought of others. He was a loving son, a kind brother, and he adored his nephews. He has touched the lives of so many people during his stay on earth and continues to do so as he watches over us in Heaven.
Brandon is survived by his parents, Carolyn and Saul Yanez; sister, AngelaYanez- (Marcos) Dominguez; grandmother, PhyllisMills and his nephews, Marcos, III and Angel Dominguez along with many family members and loved ones. Brandon was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Anita and David Yanez and Carl Neff.
A celebration of Brandon’s life will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, Ohio on Thursday, June 27th from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. the same day. Please feel free to bring your guitar and stories to share with everyone. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Freck Funeral Chapel in Brandon’s name to defray funeral expenses.
