Bonnie Jeanne Townsend, age 82, of Northwood, OH passed away unexpectedly in her home on December 26th after spending Christmas with her family. She was born on August 21, 1933 in Toledo, OH to Lyle and Martha Foster. Bonnie was a 1951 graduate of Waite High School and worked as an office manager at her brother’s dental practice for 30 years. She was a member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church and a member of Welca woman’s group.
Bonnie is survived by her daughters, Amy (Gene) Bihn, Terri (Bill) Ballmer and Tamara (Dale) Busdieker; 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and one due in June. She is also survived by her brother, Keith (Barb) Foster, step-brother, Bob (Jan) Valentine and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Deborah Townsend.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Martin Luther Lutheran Church where the family will greet friends after 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Martin Luther Lutheran Church.
