Bill Lee Canaday

Bill Lee Canaday, 25, of Toledo, passed away August 29, 2018. He was born June 11, 1993 in Denver, Colorado to John and Victoria (Base) Canaday. Bill was an aviation technician at Endeavor Air. He was a fan of the Eagles, a gamer, and enjoyed going fishing from the boat, but most of all, he was a family man who loved his two beautiful daughters and his fiancée Jessica.

Bill is survived by his parents, Victoria and John; fiancée, Jessica Asbury; children, Penelope and Callie; sisters, April Freeman, Nicole Canaday and her daughter Skylah; brother, Nathan (Alayna) Canaday and their children, Maya, Ayva, Nathan Jr., and Kaiden; grandmother, Kay Canaday; paternal aunt, Beverly Lashmett; maternal aunts, Deborah (Danny) Base, Pamela Kiessling, Doris (Adrian) Garcia, Patricia (Glenn) Base, Roxanne (Bob) Barnaby; maternal uncle, Raymond Base, Jr.; mother-in-law, Christy (Chris) Hatley; sister-in-law, Angel (Billy) Seragon and their children, Serenity and Skylar; brother-in-law, Hubert Asbury; father-in-law, Ray Asbury; and many loving cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Alice Joanne (Allen) Heins and Alden Bill Canaday; maternal grandparents, Maryann and Raymond Base, Sr.; paternal uncles, Bill, Donnie and Randy Canaday.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial to follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
