Betty Rose Meeks

Betty Rose Meeks, age 97, passed away Monday, July 22, 2024. She retired from First Federal Savings and Loan of Toledo as a manager in 1989. Betty was a longtime parishioner of St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Oregon. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Betty is survived by her children, Michael (Barbara) Meeks, Jacquelyn Price, James Meeks, and Carolyn Sanders; her grandchildren, Scott, Chris, Nicholas, Stephanie, Stephen, Sarah, and Jonel; her 12 great-grandchildren; and her 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gale; her parents; brother, Raymond; and sisters, Margaret and Rita.

Private services were held and Betty was laid to rest at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park with her husband. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Arrangements entrusted to Freck Funeral Chapel , Oregon, OH.
