Betty Jane Harrison, 89, of Oregon, OH, slipped quietly into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, August 5, 2014.  She was born in Wheeling, W.V. on December 16, 1924 to Paul (Agnes Dickson) Ames.   Betty was a graduate of Waite High School and attended Open Bible College.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.  Betty and her husband, Earl, enjoyed traveling abroad.  They worked together reaching people for Christ through the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International.  She partnered with Earl in their family businesses, Harrison Floors and Harrison Builders.  Betty will be remembered most of all for her love of God and family.

Betty is survived by her children:  Barry (Sharon) Harrison of Oregon, Judi (Jim) Mahaney of Oregon, Pat Raider of Lincoln, NE. and Debi (Fred) Brett of Oregon; grandchildren: Brent (Andrea) Harrison, Nici (Ryan) Clark, Matt Harrison, Jeff (Jamie) Mahaney, Greg (April) Mahaney, Mike Mahaney, Jodie (Stephen) Laing, Michelle (Doug) McClure, Melissa (Chris) Langer, Barry Ruppel, Rachel Ranville and Natalie (Braxton) Strickland; great-grandchildren:  Celene, Sam, Reagan, Rylee, Aleena, Bria, Kai, Tegan, Jagger, Doug (Natalie), Moriah, Jordan, Denton, Analise, Calvin, Lola, Christien, Laci and Tenley.  She is also survived by her sisters, Joyce (Clyde) Johnson and Soni (Bill) Harrison.  Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Earl and her sister, Donna (Chester) Potts.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel on Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 2-8 p.m.   Funeral services will be held on Monday at Cedar Creek Church-Perrysburg Campus at 10 a.m. where family will greet guests after 9 a.m.  Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.       Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Chi Alpha Student Ministries at the University of Toledo lead by her grandson, Greg (April) Mahaney.
