Bernice O. (Miller) Brunner

Bernice O. Brunner, 86, of Port Clinton, OH passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at the Ebeid Hospice Center.  She was born on February 20, 1928 in Bedford, IN. to General and Lois Miller.  Bernice worked as a nurse’s aide at the Lutheran Home at Toledo for many years.  She was a member of the East Toledo Baptist Church, Past President of the Gold Star Mother’s Tri-State Chapter and member of Oakdale Mother’s Club for many years.

Bernice is survived by her daughters:  Connie Brunner, Carol Brunner-Hill and Claudia (Joe) Cantwell; grandchildren:  Michael and Shayne Hill, Ben (Heather) Cantwell and Laura (David) Borows; great-grandchildren:  Troy, Zac, Austin, Drew, Mallory, Bradley, Zoey and Eloise and her sister, Madonna Bell-Edington.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Arba; son, Pfc. Michael C. Brunner U.S. Marines and her parents.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 2-8 p.m.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday in the funeral home at 11 a.m.   Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
