Bernadine M. Hall, age 81, of Oregon, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 24, 2013. She was born on June 8, 1931 in Toledo, Ohio to Ashton and Edna (Barnes) Vellequette. Bernadine graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1949, and married Lyman Hall in 1950. Together they made their home in Oregon, where they raised their family. Bernadine worked as Oregon’s first Clerk of Courts, and was an instrumental committee member responsible for the city of Oregon’s water treatment plant. She was a stubborn yet funny woman who will be dearly missed.
Bernadine is survived by her loving daughters, Cathy Stein, Donna Joanne Hall; son, Lyman Michael Hall; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and brothers, Murlin and Roger Vellequette. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband; parents; daughter, LouAnn Hall and brother, Grover Vellequette.
