Bernadine Agnes Gehr

Bernadine (Halada) Gehr gained her wings March 21st, 2024. Her favorite hobbies were reading all kinds of books, solving all kinds of puzzles, watching the news, singing, and gardening. She was born a second-generation Czech-American to Casper M. Halada and Anna (Chinoransky) Halada on July 7, 1933 as the seventh child born on the seventh day of the seventh month. She grew up with her siblings in Rossford, Ohio before later moving to Oregon, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James; son, Tim; brothers, Casper A. Halada, and Bill Halada; and sisters, Midge Jasik, Jo Smith, Mary Balusik, Ann Capeheart, and Rose Mary Leslie. She is survived by her son, Tom (Debbie) Gehr; grandchildren, Devoren, Deanna (Jason), Todd, Austin (Stephanie), Alex, Deidra, and Crystal; great-grandchildren, Dominic, Destiny, Ella, Cody James, Selene, and Ainzalee; and great great-grandchildren, Landyn, Connor, and Logan.

Private services were held and Bernadine was laid to rest with her husband at St. Ignatius Cemetery, Oregon, OH. Arrangements entrusted to Freck Funeral Chapel, Oregon, OH.
