Benjamin “Benny” Johnson Sr., age 64 of Toledo, OH, passed peacefully away on Monday, February 18, 2013 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Toledo, OH. He was born on November 10, 1948, to Juan and Ofelia (Torres) Johnson Sr. in Adrian, MI. Benny loved spending time with his family, particularly his grandchildren. He has gone to be with his beloved wife, Rebecca. Benny will be missed, but we are happy he is in the arms of his love.
Benny is survived by his loving children, Bernadette (Chris) Medrano, Benjamin (Marcella) Johnson Jr., Stephen (Patricia) Johnson, Marcos Johnson, Aaron Johnson; 17 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchild; siblings, Maria Luisa (Joe), Juan (Anita) Jr., David, Ricky (Cindy), Billy (Connie) and Bernice as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Friends and family may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon, OH on Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday in the funeral Chapel at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
