Barbara E. (Marlow) Cieply

Barbara E. Cieply age 82 of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Mercy St. Anne  Hospital.  Barbara was born to Norval and Augusta Marlow on March 2, 1938 in Northwood, Ohio. She was the strongest, most independent woman who cared for everyone else before herself. Barbara worked as a waitress, nurse’s aide, owned and operated A&B Carry-Out and most recently as a clerk for Dolly Madison Bakery. She loved ceramics, lottery, bingo and her pets Poo Poo and Baby Kitty. As the center of her family, she loved to cook and have everyone together. Barbara kept an immaculate house and enjoyed decorating for every holiday. In spite of her health problems in the past year, Barbara had an incredible will to survive for the love of her family who will miss her deeply.

Barbara is survived by her children, Danny (Anna) Quisno, Star (Jeff) Liford, Freddy (Debbie Faust) Cieply, Allen Cieply, Barbie (Ken Schings) Cieply, Heidi (Ken Jordan) Cieply, Holly (Josh) Rowe, Tanisha (Tisha) Cieply; grandchildren Daniel, Erika, Jeffery, Stacy, Anthony, Johnny, Jared, Tanisha, Chad, Bryce, Brianna, Destiny, Nathan, Cassy and Jessy; great-grandchildren Suryah, Dajza, Jobari, Bentley, Cameran, Bentley, Rilee, Madeline, Noah, Chase, Cassidy, Landon, Lariya, Celeste, Azrael, Trinity and Braxton; and sister Wanda Potter. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Robert and Leo Marlow, and grandson Jeremy Liford.
