Larry Hill, 71, of Toledo passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Bono, Ohio on January 22, 1942 to Donald and Bernadine (Cluckey) Hill and married Marinell Kelley. Austin was a factory supervisor for various auto parts stores and was a trained chef who managed several restaurants. Bowling was his life and he competed as an ABC Tournament bowler.
He is survived by his children, Joseph (Renee) Phillips, Jeffrey Hill, Jennifer Hill, and Jane (Dan) Shellhammer; daughter-in-law, Caroline Phillips; adoptive daughter, Tammy Downs; adoptive son, Randy Wilkerson; grandchildren, Darci (Brian), Elizabeth (Jim), Heidi, Daniel (Amy), Richard (Sally), Joshua (Courtany) and David; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Clarence (Kathy) Hill; and special friend, Ed Watson. Larry was preceded in death by his wife; parents and sister, Donna Jean Hill.
Family and friends may visit on Friday, July 5, 2013 from 2-9 p.m. in the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd., Oregon, where the funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorials may be made directly to the family.
