Aurelio Gonzalez-Torres

Aurelio Gonzalez-Torres, age 85, of Fostoria, OH, passed away at the Toledo Hospital on Friday, October 20, 2023. He was born in Casa de Cerro, Zacatecas, Mexico on November 12, 1937 to Jose Gonzalez and Petra Torres. Aurelio worked as a truck driver for Moctezuma Cerveza Company, retiring after over 30 years of service. He enjoyed working construction and refrigeration side jobs but most of all he loved his family. Aurelio will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather.

He is survived by his children, Rosa Maria (Arturo) De Lira, Araceli Perez, Armando (Francelia) Gonzalez, Maria del Rosario Cardenas, and Aurelia Gonzalez; his daughter-in-law, Leticia Gonzalez; his 28 grandchildren; his 50 great-grandchildren; his 4 great-great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Daniel Gonzalez, Maria Gonzalez, Felipa Gonzalez, and Mauro Gonzalez. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Maria Neria; his son, Jose; his son-in-law, Gil; his siblings, Jose, Teresa, and Feliciano; and his parents, Jose and Petra.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. to share memories and fellowship.
