ARNOLD  D.  LITTEN, JR.

Arnold D. Litten, Jr., 69, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. He was born April 23, 1943 in Toledo to Arnold D. and Violet G. (Pegroch) Litten, Sr. For over 39 years, Arnie was a member of the Local 20 Teamsters Union, working 34 years with Roadway Express retiring in 2005. During the 1970’s, Arnie owned and raced his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He was a member of the Zenobia Shrine Temple where he was active in both the Motorcycle and Highlander Units. He was an avid camper who enjoyed camping in his converted Greyhound bus mostly in the Gettysburg, VA area.

He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly; children, Bret (Chris) Litten, Craig (Leslie) Litten and Michelle Litten; stepchildren, Kevin and Keith Foulk and Renee (Kenny) Foulk Krolik; grandchildren, Jason and Victoria Krolik, Anthony Foulk, Justin Staton and Sarah, Bret, Erin and Nate Litten; brothers, George (Karen) Litten and Richard Litten; special nieces, Peggy and Suzie; special nephews, Greg and Jimmy and Craig Latimore and special K-9 companion, Lola Pookie. Arnie was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, George Litten, Jr.

Friends and family may visit from 10- 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2013 the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd., Oregon, Funeral where the memorial service will begin 4 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Hospice of NW Ohio or the Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
