Arley Partin, 88, of Curtice, Ohio passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Bay Park Community Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Pearl, KY on October 10, 1927 to John and Florence (Jones) Partin. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family. He was a proud U.S. Marine veteran who served his country during WWII. Arley married the love of his life, Roella on November 23, 1950.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Delera Lindell, Joan (Chuck) Luce, Debbie (Butch) Wick, Tim (Michelle), Marty (Tena), Arley D. (Melanie) Partin; 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and brother, John, Jr. Arley was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Roella; parents; 7 brothers; 2 sisters; granddaughters, Shelly Luce and Sarah Partin and great-great-granddaughter, Alexandria Schnabel.
A graveside service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Oakwood Cemetery, Brown Rd in Jerusalem Township, Ohio with full military honors. A special thanks to Dr. Sharma and the Staff at Bay Park ICU. Contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
