Antonio A. Ruiz, 34, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, December 4, 2012. He was born in Toledo on November 9, 1978 to Alfonso and Kathleen A. (Burke) Ruiz and was a 1996 graduate of Cardinal Stritch High School. He studied tool and die at the University of Toledo. He was a gifted mechanic and impressed his teachers of his outstanding learning abilities using non-traditional study method. His outstanding personality precluded him as the life of the party with his beautiful smile and laughter. He was dearly loved by family and many friends but the apple of his eye was his daughter, Josephine. He worked for various employers but currently was laid off from PGT Trucking. He was an avid fisherman: breeding, collecting and selling exotic fish and was a Cleveland Browns fan.
He will be deeply missed by his daughter Josephine Ruiz; mother Kathleen; sisters, Cecilia (Jamie) Ruiz, Stefanie Ruiz, Jenny (Shawn) Hughes; brother, Alfonso (Michelle) Ruiz; nephew, David Cutcher; goddaughter and niece, Brianna Seaman and many other dear family members and friends. Tony was preceded in death by his father; sister, Tonya Ruiz; aunt, Jasmin Avelar; uncle, Javier Ruiz; and his grandparents.
Friends will be received from 10-7p.m. on Sunday, December 9, 2012, in the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. Oregon, Ohio where the funeral service will begin at 7 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family would be greatly appreciated.
