Anna Mae Purtee, 90, of Jerusalem Township, Ohio passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio-Perrysburg Center. She was born on August 13, 1927 in Luna Pier, Michigan to Floyd and Margaret Tefft. Anna attended Waite High School and enjoyed reading, crocheting and playing Bingo. She will be dearly missed.
Anna is survived by her sons, Carl (Rene’) Purtee and Eric Purtee; daughter-in-law, Cory Purtee; 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 3 great- great-grandchildren; brothers, Floyd Tefft and Dale (Sharon) Tefft and sisters-in-law, Juanita Danko and Zella Wells. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Russell W. Purtee; sons, Darryl and David and her siblings, Dick, Bob, Ray, Betty, Rosie, Bill and Donnie.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of N.W. Ohio.
