Anita A. Tanner, 88, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Monday, June 9, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg Center.  She was born on December 19, 1925 in Okolona, Ohio to Wilhelm and Martha Lange.  Anita was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a lifelong member of First St. Mark Lutheran Church in Oregon, Ohio.  She enjoyed volunteering at various church activities, spending time with her family, knitting and gardening.  Anita spent many hours traveling the country going to many radio control airplane events with her husband, Buddy.  She will be dearly missed.

Anita is survived by her loving husband, Buddy Lee Tanner; daughters, Bonita “Bonnie” Owens and Anna Marie Hable; son, David (Robin) Tanner; grandchildren:  Angelo, Mela, Tivurcio, Holly, Bobby, Tiffany, Austen and Kirsten along with 9 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Walter and Arnie and sister, Edna.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel on Thursday, June 12, 2014 from 5-8 p.m.  Funeral services will be held on Friday in the funeral home at 11 a.m. where family will greet guest one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made to First St. Mark Lutheran Church 1121 Grasser St. Oregon, OH. 43616.
