Angelica C. Najera, 73, of Toledo passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Orchard Villa Nursing Home. She was born June 8, 1940 in Matamoros, Mexico to Eugenio and Concepsion (Vargas) Cruz. She enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with family in friends. She loved to bring joy and happiness to everyone she met. Angelica worked for Hinkle Manufacturing in Rossford for 28 years.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Concepsion (Vargas) Cruz; father, Eugenio Cruz and son, Robert Najera. Angelica is survived by her son, Geronimo Najera, Sr.; daughter, Maria Luisa Najera; seven grandchildren; many great grandchildren; two sisters and four brothers.
There will be no visitation or services. The family wants to thank Hospice of Northwest Ohio, all the staff at Bay Park Hospital on the ICU and step-down unit and all the staff at Orchard Villa nursing home. Arrangements were entrusted to Freck Funeral Chapel.
