Alma M. Arquette passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on August 16, 2012 and would have been 91 on Sunday August 19th. She was born and raised in Curtice, Ohio and later moved to Toledo. Alma was a homemaker and had a known talent for being a great cook as well as baking a tasty lemon meringue and apple pie. She enjoyed making painted ceramic crafts, playing Bingo and was a volunteer in the gift shop at St. Charles Hospital.
Alma is survived by her sons: DeWayne, Patrick and Shawn Arquette; daughter, Marge Burrow; sisters, Betty, Stella and Mary with a host of grandchildren, nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Edith (Beauregard) Collum; husband, Ervin Arquette, son Ervin (Butch) Arquette Jr.; daughters, Jacquelyn Goodykuntz and Nancy Schmidt and granddaughter, Robin Snyder.
A special thank you to the staff at Genoa Care Center that provided great care and showed such compassion for Alma over the last several years including, Ancillary Coordinator Alicia, with her kind heart that brought a smile to Alma’s face.
