Alice Leila Reno, age 98, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016 at Mercy-St. Vincent Hospital. She was born on August 13, 1918 in Toledo to Rody and Mildred Staycheff. Alice was a member of First St. Mark’s Lutheran Church where she was involved in the New Horizons “Seniors” group and the 55+ Club. Alice was a devoted wife of 41 years, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was always there for us and will be dearly missed.
Alice is survived by her children: Mary Lou Enright, Rody (Kathy) Reno, Andrea (Joseph) Richie and Merrill Reno, Jr.; grandchildren: Linda (Patrick) Cousino, Rody (Terra) Reno II, Merrill Reno III, Stephanie Reno, Danielle (Matthew) Urbaniak and Rachel Trivillian and great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Allissandra and Louis Cousino, Melody Reno and Parker Marsh and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Merill Reno, Sr.; sister, Virginia (Raymond) Dickinson and nephew, David Dickinson.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Friday, September 2, 2016 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the First St Mark’s Lutheran Church where family will receive guests after 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Willow Cemetery.
