Alice S. Horn, 89, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo Center. She was born on September 16, 1933 in Payne Gap, Kentucky to Kyle and Vera Pendleton. Alice had a very deep, and strong Christian Faith that allowed her to be accepting of faiths. She was a longtime member of East Toledo Baptist Church where she made many friends over the years. Alice worked for 10 years as a lunch lady at Raymer Elementary School and was involved in Cub Scouts as a den mother for many years.
Alice is survived by her loving family, children Jeffrey (Paula), David (Maria), Kevin (Wendy), and Mark (Julie); 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Bea (Don) Crane and Evelyn Bates; and her second family, Sally, Dwight, Cheryl, Pearl, Gene-O, Betty, and Milly. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Samuel, and brothers, Dexter, Joe, and George Pendleton.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Monday, November 28, 2022, from 10:00-12:00 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
