Alexander Jimenez

Alexander “Alex” Jimenez, loving husband, father, papa, brother, and uncle died in his home at the age of 71 on Friday, November 17, 2023.  Alex leaves behind his loving wife of 35 years, Robin; his two daughters, Mandee (Aaron) Robison Collins and Alexandrea Jimenez; and his five beautiful grandchildren, Alyssa, Katelyn, Tegan, Niko and Carlos who he loved so much; his brothers, Rafael (Kathy) Jimenez, and Servando Jimenez; and many nieces and nephews. He was born in Toledo, OH on December 21, 1951 to Servando and Consuelo (Lizcano) Jimenez.

He worked at Toledo Hardwood Floors for 20+ years. Alex loved the holidays with family gatherings and playing card games (such as “Screw your neighbor”) and especially watching the New York Jets. He had many friends and liked going to the Sportsman and playing shuffleboard and bowling. Alex loved getting together with his nieces and going to church with his daughter, grandson, niece and brother. He was preceded in death by his father, Servando; mother, Consuelo; sister, Mercedes Mares; and nephew Jacob Robison.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon, OH on Monday, November 27, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral chapel on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.
