Albert H. Shepherd “Buster”
Albert H. Shepherd, age 85, of Walbridge, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Perrysburg Care and Rehab Center. He was born on December 31, 1925 in Bluefield, West Virginia to Joseph and Eva Shepherd. Albert served our country in WWII in the US Navy and later served in the Air Force. He worked for Toledo Truck tubes and enjoyed spending time outside shining up his cars.
Albert is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn (Childress); daughters, Patricia (Dennis) Green of Florida, Virginia Perez of Florida, Susan Hamilton of Oregon, Ohio, Iris Leigh Proffitt of West Virginia; son, Daniel Shepherd; sister, Susan Holly of Virginia; and brother, Wade Shepherd of Michigan; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and some great great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Cecile Annette Shepherd; 2 sisters; 4 brothers; and 4 grandchildren.
Friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon, on Sunday November 6, 2011 from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
