Albert Vincent Neubert, Jr.

Albert “Al” Neubert Jr., age 87, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021.  He was born on December 20, 1933 in Batavia, New York to Albert Vincent Neubert, Sr. and Eleanor Wetzel.  Al worked as a welder/metal finisher for City Auto Stamping, retiring after 31 years of service.  After retiring, he worked for Toledo Seagate Foodbank for several years.  Al loved spending time with children, especially his grandkids.  He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and yardwork.  He will be dearly missed.

Al is survived by his children:  Cheryl Papuchike, Dennis Neubert, Cathy (Ken) Dudley, Chris Stuchel, Lori (Terri) Neubert and Keith (Kristen) Neubert; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carol; 5 brothers, and 1 sister.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, August 26, 2021, from 2-8:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
