Adora "Skip" Irene Harris

Adora I. Harris, “Skip,” age 81, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at home surrounded by her family.  Adora was born February 27, 1939 to Clyde and Delores (Pixley) Rhinehart in Port Clinton, Ohio.  She was a 1958 graduate of Waite High School and was employed for a number of years in the Liquor Control Division for the State of Ohio.  Adora was a longtime member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church, serving as the president of the church council for a number of years.  She was also involved in the Oakdale School Mother’s Club, the Oakdale Parent Teachers Group, and the Waite High School Band Association.  She is survived by her children, Tonya, Roxane (Dave), and Franklin, Jr.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her brother, Robert (Jean).  She is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Franklin, granddaughter, Melinda, and her great-grandson, Matthew, Jr.

Family and friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd Oregon, OH 43616 on Thursday, July 16, 2020 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM where the funeral service will be held on Friday, July 17, 2020 at 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made to Martin Luther Lutheran Church.
