KENT RAYMOND HANSEN
Kent R. Hansen, 57, of Toledo, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Mercy-St. Vincent Medical Center. He was born May 11, 1957 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Donald K. and Patricia J. (Saam) Hansen and was a graduate of Bowling Green High School. Kent proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. For 25 years, he worked as a kiln burner with Martin Marietta and was a member of the Bradner American Legion Post #338. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, drinking beer and raising hell.
He is survived by his loving wife, Paige Hansen; children, Kelley Hansen, Kent W. (Mike) Hansen, Saamual Hansen, Kenneth Hansen, Edward Kincaid, Kevin (Jana) Kincaid; grandchildren, Trevor Robbins, Aiden, Cyrus and Edward Kincaid and Chase Meyers; siblings, Richard “Dick” Hansen, Steven Hansen, Debbie (Rab) Stiger; mother-in-law, Marilou (Terry Brunt) Geeting; brother-in-law, Robert (Kim) Geeting along with many nieces and nephews. Kent was preceded in death by his parents and stepmother, Annabelle Hansen.
A memorial gathering will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the Bradner American Legion Post #338, 209 W. Crocker St, Bradner, Ohio, 43406 where a Military Honor service will begin at 4 p.m. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kent R. Hansen Memorial Fund c/o First Merit Bank, P.O. Box 268 Wayne, Ohio 43466. Arrangements were entrusted to Freck Funeral Chapel.
