JUDY ANN (SIGURDSON) QUINN
Judith Ann Quinn died suddenly on April 13, 2015 at the age of 73. Judy was born in Toledo, Ohio, on May 4, 1941, the oldest child of Grimur and Margaret (O’Boyle) Sigurdson. Judy was a proud graduate of the Clay High School class of 1959, as well as Stautzenberger Business College.
Judy was originally employed as secretary to the president of Tiedtke’s and then worked for Kaiser Industries. Judy was employed in the clerical department at Norfolk-Southern Railroad for many years. She also enjoyed being a real estate agent for Lindsay Realty.
Judy was predeceased by her parents and her beloved sister Charlene Reed. She is survived by her husband Larry Quinn and her brothers John (Dee) Sigurdson and Ron (Karen Esposite) Sigurdson, as well as her sister Linda (Bill) Kepp and her brother-in-law Paul Reed.Judy is also survived by her loving cousin Sharon Lanz and dear friend Karen Cousino, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Judy will be deeply missed by her loving family and many friends. She was known for her kindness and compassionate ways. Those, along with Judy’s love for good food and conversation, always made her a perfect companion at family gatherings or for a night out. Judy was a member of St. Clements Catholic Parish.
A memorial visitation will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Oregon, Ohio, with a Mass of Christian Burial in her honor to follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be private at Restlawn Memorial Park. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Judy’s name to the charity of the donor’s choice.
